Auto Labo provides independent on-site vehicle verification and documentation services in Japan for overseas buyers.
The service consists of visual observation, photographic documentation, and factual written notes regarding the condition of a vehicle at the time of visit.
Auto Labo does not perform mechanical inspections, provide technical diagnostics, or evaluate vehicle performance.
Auto Labo does not sell vehicles, act as a broker, negotiate prices, or handle payments between buyer and seller.
Our role is limited to visual documentation and communication support.
However, as part of buyer-side support, we may assist with communication by helping clarify seller instructions, payment procedures, and general process understanding.
Final purchase decisions, financial transactions, and contractual agreements remain entirely between the buyer and seller.
Nature of Used Vehicles
All vehicles documented by Auto Labo are used vehicles.
Vehicle condition varies depending on age, mileage, maintenance history, storage conditions, prior usage, and environmental exposure.
Used vehicles may contain hidden defects, mechanical wear, corrosion, or other issues that cannot be identified through visual observation alone.
Documentation reflects only the condition observed at the time of visit.
Non-Invasive Documentation
All services provided by Auto Labo are visual and non-invasive.
No mechanical disassembly, diagnostic testing, lifting, or component removal is performed.
This service does not constitute a warranty, guarantee, or certification of vehicle condition or future performance.
Access Limitations
Documentation scope depends on seller permission and physical accessibility at the location.
Certain areas may not be documented due to:
• limited physical access
• environmental conditions
• safety considerations
• storage constraints
• seller restrictions
Auto Labo is not responsible for areas that cannot be documented.
Communication & Transaction Responsibility
Auto Labo does not participate in financial transactions, price negotiations, or contractual agreements between buyers and sellers.
Any assistance related to seller communication is limited to clarification support and general guidance only.
Auto Labo does not act as interpreter of record, legal representative, broker, exporter of record, or payment intermediary.
All purchase decisions, payment arrangements, and contractual responsibilities remain solely with the buyer.
By using Auto Labo services, the client acknowledges that communication assistance does not constitute negotiation, representation, or transaction management.
Auto Labo does not provide translation certification, legal interpretation, or contractual advisory services.
Observational Nature of Findings
All documentation is based on visual observation only.
Condition interpretation may vary between individuals.
If a higher level of certainty is required, clients should arrange a full mechanical inspection through a qualified repair facility.
No Liability for Purchase Decisions
Auto Labo provides documentation to assist client decision-making.
The final purchase decision remains solely the responsibility of the client.
Auto Labo shall not be liable for:
• purchase outcomes
• undiscovered defects
• future mechanical failures
• transport or shipping damage
• seller misrepresentation
• market value fluctuations
Payment Terms
Verification services must be paid in advance unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Scheduling is confirmed only after payment has been received.
Travel expenses or special access costs (if applicable) will be communicated prior to scheduling.
Time Zone & Communication
Auto Labo operates in Japan Standard Time (JST).
Response times may vary due to international time differences.
Auto Labo aims to respond within one business day.
Export Coordination (Optional Service)
Export coordination support is available only to verification clients.
Auto Labo does not act as:
• exporter of record
• shipper of record
• vehicle owner
All logistics, customs, shipping, and related fees are paid directly by the client to third-party providers.
Acceptance of Terms
By requesting services, the client acknowledges and accepts:
- the limitations of visual documentation
- the risks inherent in purchasing used vehicles
- the possibility of undiscovered issues
- the observational nature of all findings
Documentation coverage may vary significantly depending on site conditions.
Use of Auto Labo services constitutes acceptance of these terms.
These terms apply to all services provided by Auto Labo unless otherwise agreed in writing.
